“ Great food! We ordered enchiladas, tacos, and a burrito. Carnitas were lovely, and asada was great! Everything fresh and fast. Small indoor seating area with some authentic kitchen noise and food prepared right behind the counter. We will be back! ”
“ A wonderful spot with a great atmosphere. The person who brought the food to our table was so kind. Food was fresh, sauce options were on point, and the margaritas were delicious. We will be back! ”
“ I love this place, there burritos are huge and I have had all the vegetarian options for their burritos and the nopales is my favorite! I have been having the same burrito since 2011 and man it is so good, I have had their other offerings, but I keep coming back to the nopales burrito with the mole, come with a big appetite their portions are generous for what you pay for and I love that. This place is always a treat when I whenever come here and their salsa bar is great as well. ”
“ One of the best mexican food places in Berkeley. Their salsa is always good, and they're very friendly and the service is fast. Their cocktails are also excellent and not expensive. I can't recommend this place enough. If you don't know what to get go for something with the mole (mo-leh) poblano, if you like sweets, guajillo (gwa-hee-yo) If you like a little spicy kick. ”
“ Great food. The ordering and assembling of my burrito was quick. Although it was a bit past the dinner hour and closing time wasn't too far away. Shortly after ordering, I'm sitting at the table and the guy hands me my burrito over my shoulder. The 'kitchen' was right behind me. The decor/art on the walls makes you feel like you're about to get something special on your plate. The display of salsas and desserts in the display case were impressive. Nothing about this place says, 'just another Mexican joint.' I tried the mole sauce in a burrito. I'm glad my first experience with mole was a good one. Sorry for the picture of the partially eaten burrito, but it's the only way i could show you the inside. "Best Mole in 40 years" was is likely very well deserved. I'll be coming back for taco Tuesdays. ”
